Grant Powell has been named the new Head Football Coach at Davenport Schools. In addition to teaching Health at DHS, Powell is the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant A.D. He has been teaching and coaching for five years.

Powell played college baseball at East Central University and NOC Enid. He completed his college education at UCO, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education & Health.

“I’m beyond excited to step into the role of head football coach at Davenport Public Schools and take the reins of such a historically successful program! It’s an honor to be part of a tradition built on hard work, dedication, and community pride. I can’t wait to hit the ground running with the great group of kids we have and continue to build a successful program with the support of the school and community.
